MEPs have been assessing vice-presidents designate to ensure their suitability for the jobs and test their ability to deliver on citizens’ expectations. Věra Jourová and Josep Borrell were questioned for the Values and Transparency and the Foreign Affairs portfolios. After scrutinising individual nominees Parliament will have the final say on the whole Commission.
